Dutch corvette Zr.Ms. Dolfijn departed Willemstad, Curacao for escorting merchant ships towards Venezuelan harbours according to the Dutch newspaper De Curacaosche courant dated 29 May 1819

An official announcement dated the 21st reported the intended departure from Willemstad, Curacao on Wednesday the 2nd from Willemstad, Curacao of the Dutch corvette Zr.Ms. Dolfijn towards open sea for escorting merchant ships bound for Puerto Cabello and La Guayra, Venezuela.
