Dutch corvette Zr.Ms. Castor decommissioned and Dutch frigate Zr.Ms. Belllona destined for the Dutch East Indies according to the Dutch newspaper Middelburgsche Courant dated 27 August 1839

An item dated Den Helder, Netherlands the 22nd reported that the same morning the Dutch corvette Zr.Ms. Castor (1) captain lieutenant De Raadt arrived in the roads. Her crew as far as available was to be transferred to the Dutch frigate Zr.Ms. Bellona (2) bound for the Dutch East Indies. The Castor would be laid up at the navy yard at Willemsoord. Her etat major became non active according to the edition dated 19th September.
