Norwegian/Swedish warships ordered to return home according to the Dutch newspaper Staatscourant dated 18 August 1818

An item dated Christiana, Norway 27th July reported that the crown ordered that the brig Lolland which left with sea cadets for a training voyage towards open sea had to return at Trondheim at the time of the coronation. The  corvette Zwaluwe [Dutch spelling] and brig of war Dolphijn [Dutch spelling] both cruising in the North Sea received similar orders.(1)

1. Norway was since 1814 part of the Swedish kingdom. Since 1814 was that Charles XXX/III who died on 5 February 1818, since then reigned Charles XIV John (born as Jean Bernadotte 20 January 1763 Pau, France-8 March 1844 Stockholm, Sweden), crowned on 11 Mat as king of Sweden and 7 September of Norway.
