Austrian screw steam sloop Fasana arrived at Batavia, Dutch East Indies coming from Singapore according to the Dutch newspaper Bataviaasch nieuwsblad dated 8 May 1888

An item dated Batavia, Dutch East Indies 8th reported the arrival of the Austrian steam warship Fasana captain Von Wohlgemuth coming from Singapore. She departed on the 16th towards Hong Kong.(1)

1. Sloop, laid down at the Navala Adriatico, Trieste, Italy on 9 October 1869, launched on 1 September 1870, completed on 5 May 1871, stricken on 7 August 1897, hulked, renamed Gamma as mine storage ship on 7 August 1902, final fate not clear probably broken up in 1920. Armament at the time she visited Batavia 4-15cm guns and 3-7cm guns.
