Dutch tug Gerard sunk in Rotterdam, Netherlands according to the Dutch newspaper De Telegraaf dated 3 October 1914

An item reported that the day before at 04.30 o’clock in the old harbour of Rotterdam, Netherlands the Dutch tug Gerard captain Van Emmerlood suddenly sunk. What caused this disaster was still unknown. Her captain was saved.
