British hospital ship Guilford Castle attacked by submarine according to the Dutch newspaper Het nieuws van den dag voor Nederlandsch-Indië dated 16 March 1918

An item dated London, England 14th referred to an announcement of the British Admiralty that the hospital ship Guilford Castle at the entrance of the Canal of Bristol, England unsuccessfully was attacked by a submarine on the evening of the 10th despite she was flying the Red Cross flag and all prescribed lights burning.
