Italian submarine destroyed armed enemy steamship according to the Dutch newspaper Het nieuws van den dag voor Nederlandsch-Indië dated 18 February 1918

An item dated Rome, Italy 11th reported that an Italian submarine on the Tuesday before with success an armed steamship of the enemy near the island Lussin [Losinj, Croatia] attacked. Despite being attacked by aircraft and destroyers returned the submarine safely.
