Dutch warship Ark van Delft 1574

A paddle ship consisted of two combined ships driven by a paddle-wheel, in 1574. {62} heavily armed, part of the fleet to free the besieged city Leiden, Netherlands in 1574, on way to Leiden stranded on the shallows, after removal of the guns refloated, the paddle-wheel was completely enclosed and protected against musket bullets, 50 soldiers and 12 men to served at the paddle wheel, unknown if the ship actually practical served.
