Libyan medium landing ship (LSM) Ibn el Hadrani 1977-


The Ibn el Hadrani was built at the Stoczcznia Polnocna Shipyard, Gdansk, Poland in 1977. A project NS-722 (Polnocny-class) design of which 4 vessels were built for Libya namely the Ibn el Hadrani (112), Ibn el Quisi, Ibn el Umaiya (116) and the Ibn el Furath/Ibn al Farat (118). Displacement 1.150/1.207 (full load) tons and as dimensions >81, x 9,3 x 2,6C metres or >266-269 x 30,5-32.8 x 6.6-8,5< feet. Transport capacity 180 soldiers or 350 ton (included 6 yanks). The armament consisted of 2x2-3cm USSRs and 2-14cm 18 tubed rocket launchers.
