Portuguese patrol boat Argoa (P 1150) 1991-
Of th Argos-class with as sister ships Dragão (P1151), Escorpião (P1152), Cassiopeia (P1153) and Hidra (P1154). Designed by the Arsendal do Afeite, Lisbon, Portugal but all ships were built by private shipyards in Villa Real de Santo Antonio, Portugal; thr Argos by Conafi (VRSA). Commissioned on 2 July 1991. Building ordered in 1989. To serve in Portugal territorial waters and in the Madeira Archipelago. MMSI 263121000 and call sign CTIH. With a displacement of 97 tons and as dimensions 27 x 5,9 x 2,8 metres or 89 x 19 x 9.2 feet. Two3.500 hp MTU 12V 396 TE84 diesels and a speed of 26 knots. With a speed of 18 knots a range of 1.350 nautical miles. Crew numbers 8 men. The armament consists of 2-12,7mm machineguns.
