French battleship Gaulois executed her official trials according to the Dutch magazine Marineblad dated 1898-1899 no. 8
An item referred to the magazine Mittheilungen reporting that the French battleship Gaulois on 10th September performed her official full speed trials resulting with a horsepower of 14.925ihp and 130,7 rpm in a speed of 18,02 miles. Coal consumption 0,808kg/ihp/hour.(1)
