French battleship Dunkerque fitted out with storage for seaplanes according to the Dutch magazine Marineblad dated 1935 no. 6

An item referred to the magazine Le Yacht dated 28 September 1935 reporting that on the aft ship of the French battle cruiser Dunkerqu a storage for 4 seaplanes was made. For launching of the planes were two catapults available. Despite that the total weight was just 100 ton had it been difficult to find place for it. This was caused by the fact that 40% of the displacement was used for protecting the ship. The belt was at the most important parts 27,5cm thick and further more were some armour decks with a maximum thickness of 12,5cm as protection against bombs dumped by aircraft.(1)
