Dutch shipyard Kon. Mij. De Schelde, Vlissingen, Netherlands delivered machinery for Dutch torpedo boat Zr. Ms. Batok in 1886

An item reported the delivery of the 750 ihp steam engine no. 72 (788 ihp at 366rpm) and locomotive boiler no. 103 to the Royal Netherlands Navy to be placed in the torpedo boat Zr. Ms. Batok. Order registered on 28 May 1886. Contracted price ƒ 70.000, extra labour ƒ 500 and for higher speed than contracted ƒ 2.850.
Building costs steam engine (material ƒ 20.487,64-labour ƒ 9.286,52-60% expenses ƒ 5.571,91), totally ƒ 35.346,07.
Building costs boiler (material ƒ 6.245,18-labour ƒ 3.001,39-70% expenses 2.101.97), totally ƒ 11/348,54.
Totally costs ƒ 46/694,61, resulting in a profit of ƒ 26.405,39. Expenses divided over budget years 1886-1887. (1)
