German navy supplying dive life jackets to submarines according to the Dutch magazine Marineblad dated 1913-1914 no. 5

An item reported that the German navy fitted her submarines out with special divers equipment for her crew to wear as life jackets with a weight of 11,5 kilo making it possible to escape from a sunken submarine.
