New kind of British anti submarine destroyer according to the Dutch magazine Marineblad dated 1935 no. 2

An item referred to the magazine Marine Rundschau dated January 1935 reporting that a British engineer designed a new kind of destroyer fitted to be fitted out with autogiro’s with foldable wings. The autogiro’s  were to be stored for the bridge and for which purpose the main armament on the fore ship was removed. As a sort of compensation was the number of torpedo tubes increased with 2 to totally 8. It was believed that such destroyer was of more value then the common type as escort vessel especially for anti submarine warfare.
