The armament of the British anti aircraft cruisers according to the Dutch magazine Marineblad dated 1937 No. 3

Caledon-class including Caledon, Calypson, Cassandra and Caradoc

An item referred to the magazine le Yacht dated 27 February 1937 reporting that the HMS Coventry (1), Curlew(2), Cardiff (3), Ceres (4), Calypso (5), Caledon (6) and Caradoc (7) were to be armed with 10-10,2cm/4” anti aircraft guns.

1. Pennant D43. Of the C class light cruisers Ceres subclass, laid down by Swan Hunter and Wigham Richardson, Wallsend-on-Tyne, England on 4 August 1916, launched on 6 July 1917, commissioned on 21 February 1918 and while damaged by a German air attack in the Mediterranean and scuttled on 14 September 1942/
2. Pennant D42. Of the C class light cruisers Ceres subclass, laid down by Vickers Limited. Barrow-in-Furness, England on 21 August 1916m launched on 5 July 1917, commissioned on 14 December 1917 and sunk due to a German air attack in Lavangsfjord, Ofotfjord near Narvik, Norway on 26 May 1940.
3. Pennant D58. Of the C class light cruisers Ceres subclass, laid down by Fairfield Shipbuilding and Engineering Company, Govan, Scotland on 22 July 1916, launched on 12 April, completed in June 1917 and sold to be broken up on 23 January 1946.
4. Pennant D59. Of the C class light cruisers Ceres subclass, laid down by John Brown&Company, Clydebank, Scotland on 11 July 1916, launched on 24 March 1917, commissioned on 1 June 1917 and sold to be broken up on 5 April 1946.
5. Pennant D61. Of the C class light cruisers Caledon subclass, laid down by Hawthorn Leslie&Company. Tyneside, England on 7 February 1916, launched on 24 January 1917, commissioned on 21 June 1917 and sunk by the Italian submarine Bagnolini south of Crete, Greece on 12 June 1940.
6. Pennant D53. Of the C class light cruisers Caledon subclass, laid down by Cammell Laird, Birkenhead, England on 17 March 1916, launched on 25 November 1916, commissioned on 6 March 1917. converted into an anti aircraft cruiser 14 September 1942-7 December 1943 and sold to be broken up on 22 January 1948.
7. Pennant D60. Of the C class light cruisers Caledon subclass, laid down by Scotts Shipbuilding and Engineering Company, Greenock on 21 February 1916, launched on 23 December 1916, commissioned on 15 June 1917 and sold to be broken up.
