The armament of the British cruiser HMS Penelope according to the Dutch magazine Marineblad dated 1937 No. 3

An item referred to the magazine le Yacht dated 27 February 1937 reporting that the British 5.200 ton cruiser HMS Penelope was to be armed with 8-10,2cm /4”anti aircraft guns in stead of 4.(1)

Of the Arethusa class light cruisers, laid down by Harland&Wolff, Belfast, North Ireland with yard number 840 on 30 May 1934, launched on 15 October 1925, completed on 15 November 1936, commissioned on 13 November 1936 and torpedoed and sunk by the German submarine U-401 underway from Naples, Italy towards the Anzio beach on 18 February 1944.
