The Australian naval budget according to the Dutch magazine Marineblad dated 1913-1914 no. 6

An item reported that the Australian naval budget was increased from 2,35 million pond sterling a year earlier to 4,26 million now. On 1 June numbered the personnel strength 3.400 persons. Except for training and a flying school was a budget asked for a cordite plant and improvement of the bases Cockburn Sound, Western Point, Jervis Bay and Port Stephens.
