Soviet tug Vladivostok active on the Danube according to a CIA report dated 27 June 1952

An item dealing with the merchant shipping traffic on the Dabube with as destination Ismail and Reni (Ukraine) between 15 February and 10 March 1952 reported the departure from Vienna, Austria of the Russian tug Vladivostok towing 6 tank barges each loaded with 60-70 carloads oil and 4 empty barges bound for Kormarno., Czechoslovakia . There were electric motors for Reni to be loaded. Although the motors were to be delivered in Romania were these first shipped to Reni and from there to Moldova suggesting they came from the Soviet Union.
