The Hungarian Meszhart steam tug Tihany active on the Danube according to a CIA report dated 10 June 1955

An item dealing with the Danube shipping movements reported that on 19 February 1955 was sighted on the position DKM 1881 the Hungarian Meszhart steam tug Tihany towing one Meszhart barge loaded with grain and one empty one upstream. A second item reported her on 24 February 1955 sighted on the position DKM 1841 while towing a loaded barge and an empty tanker upstream. She was in March 1955 renamed ss Vertes. On 29 March 1955 was she sighted as the Meszhart tug ss Vertes on the position DKM 1804 the while towing loaded tankers downstream.
