The Soviet naval base at Lakhdenpokhya according to a CIA report dated September 1967

An item reported that at Lakhdenpokhya [nowadays the Repeblic Karelia, Russia]  probably a naval base with the geographic coordinates 61.31.20 North and 30.12.30 East located on the north east edge of Lakhdenpokhya on the north west shore of Lake Ladoga. The fences area was probably used during the summer as naval base and possessed a wharf, a quay and 4 barracks and 11 support buildings. At the moment of the report were three military vessels moored alongside the wharf.
