Laid down as the Philippinas for Spanish account by Hongkong&Whampoa, Hong Kong, United Kingdom, launched on 5 February 1987, completed in 1891, sold to Siam in 1891 and renamed Mongkut Rajakumarin and stricken in April 1930. With a displacement of 610 (standard)-700 (full load) tons and a dimensions 53,3 x 7,16 x 3,35 metres. The vertical triple expansion steam engine and 2 boilers delivered 800ihp allowing a maximum speed of 14 knots; by 1906 maximum 11 knots. Coal bunker capacity 90 tons. Schooner rigged with 2 masts fitted out with military tops. Hull of steel. Crew numbered 100 men. Armament consisted of 2x1-12cm cal 40 quick firing guns, 4x1-5,7cm cal 40 Hotchkiss guns, 3x1-3,7cm 20 cal Hotchkiss guns and 1-34,6cm torpedo tube in the bow. Bow ram shaped.
