Netherlands-flagged, MMSI 244620454 and call sign PE4780. Laid down by J.&K. Smit Scheepswerf, Kinderdijk, Netherlands on 28 November 1949, launched on 21 July 1950, commissioned on 16 March 1951, decommissioned as survey ship on 26 October 1972, modernized and commissioned as training ship for midshipmen and petty officers, in 1980 and 1995 again thoroughly modernized, after the Hr.Ms. Van Kinsbergen on 2 November 1997 was commissioned was she laid up in reserve until 1 January 1900 leaving on 12th towards Hellevoetsluis, Netherlands where she was handed over to the Sea Cadet Corps there. Dimensions 45. 38 (over all) x 7,5 (maximum) x 2,2 metres and 384 tons displacement. Original fitted out with Smit MAN diesel engines with 640 hp horsepower and 2 screws allowed a speed of 12,0 knots. Crew numbered 26 men. None armament.
