An item reported that the at Peterhead, Scotland fitted out steam whaler Active with a cargo capacity of 380 tons had in 1872 as catch results while active in Greenland 1.211 seals, 3 whales, 267 hectolitres seal oil, 284 hectolitres whale oil, total 554 litres oil and 1.125 kilo whalebone.
