An item reported that the at Dundee, Scotland fitted out screw steam whaler Ravenscraig with a cargo capacity of 360 tons had in 1872 as catch results while active in Greenland and Davis Strait 3.670 seals, 10 whales, 394 hectolitres seal oil, 788 hectolitres whale oil, total 1.182 litres oil and 3.750 kilo whalebone.
