An item dated London, England 12th reported that when a steam pipe on board of the British battleship Implacable exploded 2 men were killed and another 7 wounded. De Sumatra post dated 15th added that she was lying at Gibraltar when the accident found place.(1)

1. Part of the Formidable-class, preceded by Canopus-class, succeeded by London-class, laid down by Devonport Dockyard on 13 July 1898, launched on 11 March 1899, completed in July 1901, commissioned on 10 September 1901, decommissioned in 1919 and towed to Germany in April 1922 to be broken up.
