Departure of Spanish ships bound for Peru and Veracruz delayed to worse weather conditions according to the Dutch newspaper Middelburgsche courant dated 9 March 1765

An item dated Cadiz, Spain 7 February reported that except for the Spanish galleon la Concorde which left on 29 January towards Peru were three other ships waiting to leave for the same destination. The rainy weather however prevent their departure just like that of the fleet bound for Veracruz, Mexico. All were now waiting for favorable weather.
