German Davis Strait commandeur Lourens Pietersz returned according to the Dutch newspaper Amsterdamse courant dated 21 June 1727

An item dated Amsterdam, Netherlands 20 June reported that Lourens Pietersz returned with a damaged ship on 22 April on the Elbe, Germany from a position 30 miles northwest above the Staate hoek. (1) He left on 7 March towards Davis Strait.
