German Kriegsmarine hired Austrian tug Braunkohle for service in the Black Sea in 1944

A list of vessels hired by the German Kriegsmarine or for the Black Sea available vessels dated Vienna, Austria 29 January 1944 reported that the Kriegsmarine already hired the Erste Donau-Dampfschiffahrts-Gesellschaft (DDSG) Braunkohle VIII tug with as horsepower 350hp; in pencil 31 May 1944. A list dated 23 March 1944 reported that she was Germany-flagged, fitted out with 1-350 hp diesel engine, fuel consumption 1,7 ton/hour, fuel bunker capacity 8 ton, dimensions 23,90 x 6,27 x 1,60 metres and as speed 4,5(with tow)-10 (without tow) miles.
