An item reported the arrival at Honolulu, Hawaii on 13 July of the American whaling bark Fame captain Marks (late Mitchell) of New London, USA 25 months out 100 barrels sea elephant oil, 200 barrels whale oil 100 barrels sperm oil. She had yet taken none oil that season and visited Honolulu while leaking to be repaired.
