British destroyer sunk after striking a German mine according to the Dutch newspaper De Indische courant dated 15 November 1939

An item dated London, England 14 November reported that a British destroyer strike a German mine and sunk. One crew member was killed, 6 were missing and 15 men including 3 officers were wounded. More as 70 men were rescued by tugs and minesweepers. It was the first lost British destroyer since the outbreak of the war.
