British whaling schooner Amazon visited Lahaina, Hawaii according to the newspaper The Polynesian dated 4 August 1849

An item reported the arrival at Lahaina, Hawaii on 2 August by the British whaling schooner Amazon master Howell 42 days from Tahiti with 26 passengers bound for San Francisco directly from Lahaina.
