Estonia requested the United Kingdom for warships and guaranteed supply of stores according to the Secret Admiralty Weekly Intelligence Summary No. 1 dated 10 July 1920

An item reported that the naval advisor of the Estonian government H.F. Littledale (1) asked the British Admiralty for 2 destroyers, 2 submarines and 4 sloops and guaranteed supply of stores, ammunition and fuel. The request was yet not answered until the Admiralty policy was clear what to do with the formation of the Baltic naval police forces.

Note

1. D. Stoker, Britain, France and the Naval Arms Trade in the Baltic 1919-1939 wrote that Littledale was probably a British lieutenant-commander deserted in 1916.
