Laid down by CHR, Riva Trigoso on 7 July 1927, launched on 5 Feburary 1929, commissioned on 30 November 1929 and sunk due Allied air attacks on 30 April 1943 near Cape Bon.
General specifications. Of the Navigatore-class, succeeded by Turbine-class and succeeded by Freccia-class, developed as an answer on the French Jaguar and Guépard-classes. With a displacement of 2.125 (standard)-2.599 (normal)-2.830 (full load) tons and as dimensions 107.28 x 10.2 x 3.4 metres or 352.0 x 33.6 x 11.2 feet. Her machinery consisted of 2 geared steam turbines and 4 water tube boilers supplied via 2 shafts 55.000 hp allowing a speed of 38 knots and a range of 800 respectively 3.800 nautical miles with a speed of 38 respctively 15 knots. Crew numbered 173 (including 9 officers)-225 men. Armament consisted of 3x2-12cm/4.7” guns, 2x1-4cm/1.6” anti aircraft guns. 4x2-13.2mm/0.52” machine guns and 2x3-53.3cm/21” torpedo tubes and 54 mines and 14 depth charges.
