The Hungarian Danube naval forces around 1939

The Hungarian Danube naval forces consisted of 1 so-called Cjakessen regiment with 1 patrol vessel division numbering 3 patrol vessels and one train-tank ship, 1 armoured tug and 1 river barricade battalion with 3 Kpn. (?) and 1 Torpedo group, 1 yard command with several depots and river police forces with 11 harbour commands (captains) and 4 harbour guards. The river forces numbered 1.600 men with 5-165 tons monitors (each 2-8cm guns, 3 machine guns), 3 armoured 15 tons motor boats (each 2 machine guns), 3 mine layers and a larger number of common motorboats.
