American whaler Eliza visited Norfolk Island, New Zealand according to the New Zealand newspaper Daily Southern Cross dated 10 April 1873

An item referred to tidings of the correspondent at Norfolk Island, New Zealand reporting the arrival on 19 February of the American whaler Eliza master Diamond returning from whaling although without any success in the last few months. She departed on 24 February again for whaling.
