American whaler Mary Frazer visited Norfolk Island, New Zealand according to the New Zealand newspaper Daily Southern Cross dated 10 April 1873

An item referred to tidings of the correspondent at Norfolk Island, New Zealand reporting the arrival on 20 February of the American whaler Mary Frazer master Nye 350 barrels sperm oil 200 barrels whale oil. She left the USA in November 1871. She departed on 11 March for whaling.
