An item dated Yokohama, Japan 21st reported the arrival of the 7.600 tons Argentinean cruiser La Argentina on Thursday morning on her goodwill-training cruise. Shortly after her arrival was the press welcomed by her commanding officer captain Abelado Pantin who stated that his government was pleased to visit Japan on the 2.600th birthday of the Japanese empire. The Argentinean present for Japan was a painting of Guinguila Martin showing the small vessel la Boca. After the cruiser was anchored came the commander Suteljiro Onada and Mintao Nakajima representing the Japanese navy and the Argentinean ambassador Villa on board. On 26th June was she to depart for Kobe and from there towards the Philippines.(1)
