French whaling ship Nil visited Honolulu, Hawaii according to the newspaper The Polynesian dated 9 October 1847

An item reported the arrival at Honolulu, Hawaii on 3 October by the French whaling ship Nil master Neve of Le Havre, France 12 months out 2.100 barrels whale oil.
