British sloop HMS Grimsby sunk according to the Dutch newspaper De Tijd dated 28 June 1941

An item dated Berlin, Germany 28 June referred to a statement of the British Admiralty that the British corvette Grimsby was sunk.(1)

1. Of the Grimsby-class sloops, building ordered on 1 November 1932, laid down by Devonport Dockyard on 23 January 1933. launched on 19 July 1933, completed on 17 May 1934 and sunk during a German air attack underway towards Tobruk, Libya on 25 May 1941.
