Crew numbered 49 men including 5 officers. Speed 16 (surfaced)-8 (submerged) knots. Range surfaced 5.400 nautical miles/8 knots respectively 2.000/16 and submerged 80 nautical miles/4 knots respectively 7/8. Armament 7-53,3cm/21” torpedo tubes (4 for, 2 aft), 1-10cm/4” cal 47 gun on the fore deck before the tower and 2x2-13.2mm/0.52” anti aircraft guns on the tower. Diving depth 130 metres. Built by Tosi, Taranto, Italy. Laid down on 23 August 1943, building stopped after the Italian armistice in September 1943.
