Crew numbered 49 men including 5 officers. Speed 16 (surfaced)-8 (submerged) knots. Range surfaced 5.400 nautical miles/8 knots respectively 2.000/16 and submerged 80 nautical miles/4 knots respectively 7/8. Armament 7-53,3cm/21” torpedo tubes (4 for, 2 aft), 1-10cm/4” cal 47 gun on the fore deck before the tower and 2x2-13.2mm/0.52” anti aircraft guns on the tower. Diving depth 130 metres. Built by CRDA, Montfalcone, Italy. Laid down on 12 May 1941, launched on 30 January 1942, commissioned on 11 November 1942, sunk by the American destroyer USS Nields (1) off Algeria on 21 May 1943 and stricken on 18 October 1946.
