Crew numbered 49 men including 5 officers. Speed 16 (surfaced)-8 (submerged) knots. Range surfaced 5.400 nautical miles/8 knots respectively 2.000/16 and submerged 80 nautical miles/4 knots respectively 7/8. Armament 7-53,3cm/21” torpedo tubes (4 for, 2 aft), 1-10cm/4” cal 47 gun on the fore deck before the tower and 2x2-13.2mm/0.52” anti aircraft guns on the tower. Diving depth 130 metres.
Built by Otto, La Spezia, Italy. Laid down on 1 April 1942, launched on 11 April 1943, commissioned on 25 August 1943, scuttled at La Spezia on 9 October 1943, salvaged by the German and became the UIT-16 and lost in an air attack on Genoa on 4 September 1944 and stricken on 27 March 1947
