Of the Durance-class multi-product replenishment oilers. Laid down by Cockatoo Docks&Engineering Company, Sydney, Australia on 9 August 1980, launched on 3 March 1984, commissioned on 23 April 1986 and decommissioned on 29 June 2019. Full load displacement 18,221 tonnes and as dimensions 157.2 x 21.x 8.6 metres or 515.9 x 69.7 x 28.3 feet. Speed 20 knots and range 8,616 miles/15 knots. Crew numbered 237 men including 25 officers. Except for 1 helicopter armed with 7-12.7mm/0.50” machine guns and 1 Phalanx Mk15 close-in-weapon systems fitted for but not mounted.
