An item reported the departure of the British light cruiser HMS Dauntless from Copenhagen, Denmark on 7 January bound for Devonport, England.

1. Part of Danae or D-class light cruisers, preceded by C-class, succeeded by Emerald-class. Ordered to be built in September 1916, laid down by Palmers Shipbuilding and Iron Company, Jarrow, England on 3 January 1917, launched on 10 April 1918, the hangar under her bridge was removed in 1920, commissioned on 22 November 1918, training ship since January 1943, part of the reserve since February 1945 and sold to be broken up on 13 February 1946 realized in March 1946.
