Soviet Union intended to built nuclear propelled tanker according to the Dutch newspaper Het vrije Volk dated 9 May 1964

An item reported that Russia intended to built a second nuclear ship. It was to be a 40,000 tons deadweight tanker to be used as supplier for whalers. She was to be stationed for a long period on the whaling grounds especially as oil bunker ship.
