An item reported that there was not much interest in buying the aging Liberty ships. According to Lloyd’s List was the whole market for second hand ships extremely quiet. The prizes of the more as 40 Liberty ships varied between 900,000-1,200,000 guilders but Greek and Far East shipowners usually active in such trade seemed to be not interested.
