Part of Nassau-class, preceded by Deutschland-class, succeeded by Helgoland-class, laid down by Kaiserliche Werft, Wilhelmshaven, Germany on 22 July 1907, launched on 7 March 1908, commissioned on 1 October 1909, ceded to Japan as war reparations in April 1920, sold to a British firm in June 1920 and broken up at Dordrecht, Netherlands.
