Of the Dunkerque-class fast battleships 26,500 (standard)-35,500 (deepload) tons were just 2 units built. The Georges Clemenceau of the Richelieu-class, standard displacement 36,000 (35,000 long tons) was laid down by Arsenal de Brest on 17 January 1939 but never completed.
