Ordered under contract name “B”, laid down by Blohm&Voss, Hamburg, Germany on 17 September 1898, launched on 18 October 1899, commissioned on 4 February 1902, decommisioned on 19 November 1915, stricken on 6 December 1919 and broken up in 1920.
